Condominium or floor ownership refers to the co-ownership share in a property that gives the co-owner the special right to use certain parts of a building exclusively. The subject of the special right may be individual floors or parts of floors, which must be self-contained as apartments or units of rooms for business or other purposes with their own access, but may include separate adjoining rooms.
