Walter Schmid founded the company W. Schmid & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft AG in Glattbrugg near Zurich in 1966. The original construction company has now become today’s WSG. WSG is a market leader in the development and construction of all types of real estate projects. The company operates in German-speaking Switzerland from three locations, which are situated in Basel and Zurich, and employs around 80 people.
